Good things do come in small packages. Funded by a Kickstarter campaign and representing a fresh idea in culinary publishing, Short Stack Editions fall somewhere between a cookbook, a zine, and a pamphlet that combine original recipes with colourful graphic design.

For these beautifully printed and hand-bound series, culinary heavy-weights have taken on different accessible ingredients and conjured up the many ingenious ways to cook them. The result is an affordable, concise collection of rigorously tested recipes that have been conceived by a single author with the home cook in mind.

You will find the creation of Susan Spungen, former food editor for Martha Stewart Living and frequent contributor to Bon AppétitFood & Wine between the brightly-coloured covers of Strawberries, as well as delicious recipes in Tomatoes, authored by Soa Davies, a veteran in revered restaurants like Colorado's Splendido and New York's Le Bernardin.
