Baby, it's cold outside...

Today is exceptionally freezing in Toronto and in virtually other areas of North America. Yes, it is winter, and what better time to sit by the fireplace with a soft merino lambswool throw wrapped around you, classic warm cocktail in hand?
This season, we are carrying a collection of fine blankets from Great Britain by Bronte and Eleanor Pritchard, both designed and made in the U.K. Shown below are a selection of Bronte throws that are made using premium quality wool fibre in a British mill that has been producing wool fabrics since 1837. Merino wool feels fine and comfortable to the skin with its softness and supreme texture.
* The Woolmark, as indicated on the tag, is a symbol of quality for pure new wool. Only licensed manufacturers that meet strict performance standards are permitted to include the logo on their garments.
The alternative top-of-the-line blankets we offer this season are slightly larger and thicker in size. The Eleanor Pritchard Collection, also sold in venerable design shops like Vitra and SCP, has a mid-century quality and mostly done on ‘dobcross’ shuttle looms at a small traditional mill in West Wales. With an affinity for British textiles and mid-century design, Eleanor views her work as reinterpretation of traditions and techniques for a contemporary audience.
