Shades of L.A. Architecture

The SS15 video campaign for Belgian brand, Komono was shot in the beautiful Sheats Goldstein Residence designed by legendary architect John Lautner in Los Angeles. L.A., despite its notoriously bad traffic, has some wonderful architecture — thanks to Richard Neutra, John Lautner, Pierre Koenig, Charles and Ray Eames, Craig Ellwood, etc.

Another great optical brand, California's Oliver Peoples, also shot one of their campaigns in a Lautner-designed house, named the Rainbow House back in 2011, starring folk singer/songwriter Devendra Banhart with his then-girlfriend, Rebecca Schwartz.
