It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas Pudding

Just as your hunger for the holidays has started to grow, Room 2046's new window display will whet your appetite for the 2016 holiday season.

Featuring a "tree" of a traditional British dessert known as christmas pudding, or pud. This gooey cake is filled with dry fruit, spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger – held together with eggs and suet and sweetened with molasses. It's best to let this dessert age and it keeps exceptionally well due to its high alcohol content (usually brandy or rum) as it is hung in cloth for up to a year to enhance its natural flavours. When you're ready to serve it, you can heat it by setting it a blaze and watching the blue flames burn off excess alcohol before topping it with a rum glaze and holly garnish.
