Personalizing a cocktail may seem like a complicated task, but it doesn't necessarily require a lot of introspection. An easy way to personalize a drink is to simply match it to your wedding colour palette. This will ensure that your cocktail fits in with your reception decor and help avoid clashing colours in your wedding photography. If you've gone for a cool toned scheme, try out a blue or purple tinted beverage like this Blueberry Patch drink from Zen and Tonic

What you'll need:

3 cups of blueberries
1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 cups of vodka
1 cup of blueberry lavender syrup*
4 cups of soda water
Candied lavender sprigs*

Instructions:

Freeze 1 cup of blueberries. Muddle the remaining 2 cups, adding the lime juice to the mixture. Shake in an ice-filled cocktail shaker and double strain into a pitcher. Add the vodka, syrup and frozen berries. Pour in 6-8 ice filled glasses, top with soda and garnish with sprig of lavender.
