Smells Like Spirits: Cocktail Candles by Room 2046
In addition to our debut soy-wax candles, Provence and Rainstorm, hand-poured in a limited batch at our studio, we are also launching a Cocktail Collection consisting of fragrances inspired by classic cocktails. All nine o.z. candles are made of natural soy wax and come in short rock glasses.
We're unveiling the collection with a couple of refreshing fragrances reminiscent of their namesake beverages, the Sidecar and Mai Tai. Enhance the experience and stimulate all your senses by fixing yourself and guests with actual beverages.
Obtain their recipes (or see below) and read each abridged history from the accessible, entertaining book Drinks: A User's Guide by Adam McDowell, also available from our web-shop.

Spent lime shell and mint sprig, for garnish
Paper umbrella, edible flower, cherry, and/or large pineapple wedge (optional but recommended)
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice and squeeze the lime juice into it. Reserve spent lim shell. Add the rum, rhum agricole, Cointreau, simple syrup, and Orgeat; shake the mixture vigorously and pour into a glass or tiki drinking vessel without straining. Garnish festively.
