Conceived by creative multimedia designer, Kumala Nio, Room 2046 opened its doors in May 2012 in the Summerhill / Rosedale neighbourhood of Toronto offering an eclectic selection of quality, well-designed merchandise ranging from apparel to housewares, accessories to apothecary, books to stationery sourced internationally and locally – alongside a cafe serving premium espresso-based drinks and fresh baked goods. In addition to providing an interesting, memorable retail experience, Room 2046 has exhibited whimsy and creativity through the launch of the studio by producing its own collection of hand-screened soft goods, stationery, candles, and other home accessories. The studio has also produced a series of fun short films and videos. 

*After five years of serving mid-town Toronto, we've decided to close our bricks-and-mortar shop/cafe in the summer of 2017 to shift all attention and efforts digitally, but we are still committed to providing you with exceptional customer service wherever you may be!
